Folio Society Bag

Folio Society

We were delighted to recently supply our good client The Folio Society with their latest promotional offer gift.
The brief was to design a weekend bag that was both stylish and versatile. Putting our designers, buyers and factories to the job we came up with a tailored design that fitted the bill.
Demonstrating a perfect mix of practicality and modern design this unisex holdall is now attracting customers to join the exclusive online specialist book retailer.
Let's hope the "Weekend bag" continues to deliver success for the promotional campaigns.
To find out how you can join the Folio Society to purchase high quality specialist books and of course this great new weekend bag go on line to www.foliosociety.com.

Todd Ferguson visits UK Headquarters

Todd Ferguson visits UK Headquarters

Todd Ferguson, one of our account managers from IMI Australasia's Sydney office, visited the UK Headquarters in early March 2011.
He was over in the UK ostensibly to visit his family in Scotland (see the picture!) and made time to meet UK staff for his first time since starting at IMI in 2009.
He was excited to see where IMI began 38 years ago and to catch up with the current promotional activity in the busy London Office.
Over in Australia we are making great strides in the charity sector having won many tenders. On top of that we are now heavily involved with Nestle throughout the Asia Pacific region having recently worked with them on the classic Nescafé Red Mug…over 300,000 were shipped recently.
Todd spent a few days at our Marylebone offices learning how we do things here and sharing information between us. Altogether invaluable.
Not all his time centred on work… Julian Lyons, CEO, and long standing Arsenal fan, treated Todd to a night out watching the Champions league… though with a final score 3 – 1 in favour of Barcelona, Julian would have preferred to be in Sydney himself!

Daffodils for Marie Curie

Daffodils for Marie Curie

Our planning starts a year in advance of the campaign month of March as there is plenty to be done and got right.
In December and January we receive the containers of daffodils from abroad and start to ready their dispatch.
Firstly, we dispatch invitation letters to all the supporters of the charity inviting them to take part in the activities during the Daffodil Month of March and to hopefully help raise as much money as possible for them.
We then dispatch, either in bulk or by post, to those people who have agreed to participate, the yellow silk daffodils that symbolize the month of March and the coming of spring. The design of these has evolved over the years but the essence remains the same…a strong symbol reflecting regeneration.
These are then put on display in their shops, pubs, banks, railway stations, cafes, and other establishments. Some hit the streets, if given away by a licensed collector.
At the end of March we 'harvest' the daffodils back to our warehouse sending everyone that has collected money on behalf of Marie Curie Cancer Care, details of banking paying in procedures and a special Thank You Certificate for all their hard work for raising much needed money for Marie Curie.
If you wish to donate please go to www.mariecurie.org.
