MACMILLAN + BOOTS
We secured a campaign with Macmillan Cancer Support to work together on an array of merchandise for an exciting joint initiative with Boots the Chemist, which would help to raise a considerable amount of money for cancer treatment and support.
The brief was to design, develop and produce in large volume items such as pin badges, charms and others. The items were available to in-store customers who would be able to purchase them with a (voluntary) suggested donation to Macmillan.
The range of items were designed and developed by IMI in conjunction with Macmillan and their partner and were offered in stores in specially designed point of sale boxes.
All the merchandise was then, sourced, manufactured, packed and shipped by IMI from audited factories in China.
LLOYDS TSB
We were approached by Lloyds TSB, one of UK's leading high street banks, to create a new "piggy bank" related to their advertising campaign "For the journey".
The animated campaign characterizes Lloyds TSB as a powerful locomotive, pulling its passengers (customers) wherever they want to go in life, and shows them as a caring bank that will stand by them no matter what.
After extensive creative exercises we came up with a money box / pencil case mimicking the shape of the train featured in the adverts, supporting the "For the journey" concept.
The item was aimed at young savers and was to attract them to open an account with Lloyds TSB.
The execution of the final item involved extensive design work in both 2D and 3D, CAD and actual modelling. The final product was tooled and made in factories carefully selected in China.
