We suggest, source and supply promotional merchandise to many industry sectors.
From idea generation and design briefs, we work closely with our clients to ensure suitable products are sourced to meet the required budget and target audience to fully address the client's brief.
We pride ourselves on creativity and try to live up to our name and that means keeping a close eye on current trends.
Whether designing cosmetic kits and stationery sets for children's covermount gifts, coming up with retail packaging ideas, or employing our design skills on clutch bags and purses for the beauty sector and bag charms and pin badges for charities, we need to know that our designs and ideas will stand apart from the crowd and make an impact.
We have extensive buying skills and this enables us to be competitive in sourcing and ensure we buy the promotional merchandise affectively and qualitatively.
Our fulfilment centre in Dudley, West Midlands, UK means we are able to provide a complete service starting with the ideas generation, promotional merchandise sourcing and fulfilment.
We audit all factories and our staff visit them regularly.
We carry out During Production Inspections (DUPROs) and Final Random Inspections (FRIs) to agreed AQL, to ensure the quality is consistent to the agreed samples.
We use many inspection houses but CMA and ITS Intertek are our designated partners. These two highly regarded organisations ensure that we have full confidence in the safety assurance and quality of the products we produce.
From time to time clients request we work with other testing houses with whom they have agreements and we are more than happy to do this. We have worked with STR, SGS, Bureau Veritas, and TUV, amongst many.
We will advise clients on necessary product testing and local country legal testing requirements. For example:
- Testing for Phthalates, Cadmium, EN71, etc, is standard in our buying procedures.
- We are registered with WEEE, and cover off RoHs, CE,etc.
- IMI is fully up to speed with all recent testing standards and is kept up to date by our 3rd party partners, CMA, TUV, and ITS.
We work closely with our factories to ensure that we fulfil the need of the client's requirements. Where necessary we will go beyond standard industry requirements and produce audits tailored for our clients.

IMI are pleased to announce a partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support and a well known high street store to supply charity merchandise. IMI are delighted to have been able to secure a deal to provide an array of merchandise for an exciting joint initiative that will help to raise a considerable amount of money for cancer treatment and support.
Starting next month the items designed and developed by IMI in conjunction with Macmillan and their partner will be offered in stores in specially designed Point of Sale boxes.
All the charity merchandise has been designed, sourced, manufactured, packed and shipped by IMI. Items include pin badges, charms, and there is a planned ongoing programme. The items will be available to in-store customers who will be able to purchase them with a (voluntary) suggested donation to Macmillan. We are sure this will be a huge success.
